MRS. CHIKA ANGELA MADUIKE
Chief Executive Managing Director
A graduate of Accountancy with vast experience in accounting and accounting management.
She is a seasoned financial executive and strategist with over 10 years of distinguished experience in foreign exchange markets. As the Managing Director of company, she oversees the company’s strategic direction, regulatory compliance, risk management, and overall operational growth, positioning the firm as a trusted leader in retail and corporate currency exchange.
She is vast in establishing a rigorous Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CFT) framework, ensuring 100% compliance with Central Bank directives and international financial regulations.
MR. JUDE CHUKWUEBUKA OBODOEFUNA
Chairman/Non-Executive Director
Mr. Jude, a graduate of Accounting from Imo State University, who has built an exemplary career marked by fiscal discipline, integrity, and profound knowledge of macroeconomic policies. He has vast knowledge in foreign exchange market and financial affairs. Under his strategic guidance, Conou Bureau De Change has navigated dynamic regulatory frameworks—including compliance with guidelines from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)—to emerge as a trusted market leader in retail foreign exchange services.
His leadership emphasizes absolute adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols and robust Know-Your-Customer (KYC) standards, ensuring the company maintains high institutional transparency and client trust.
Participates actively in industry stakeholder engagements alongside regulatory bodies and professional groups like the NFIU, etc.
Attended numerous national and international leadership, anti-corruption, and financial risk management seminars.
For Vision and Leadership Philosophy, Mr. Jude believes that ethical compliance and customer-centric service are the twin pillars of a resilient financial enterprise. He continues to steer Conou BDC toward technological adoption, operational efficiency, and sustainable expansion, contributing meaningfully to the stability and depth of Nigeria's retail forex market.
MRS. JESSICA CHIOMA OBI
Independent Non-Executive Director (INED)
A graduate of the prestigious University of Nsukka (UNN)
She plays a critical role in providing objective oversight, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and enhancing corporate governance without being involved in daily operations.
Mrs. Jessica, is a highly accomplished Financial Services Executive / Risk Management Specialist with over ten (10) years of distinguished experience in key sectors, e.g., banking, foreign exchange, corporate governance, or regulatory compliance. Known for her sharp analytical acumen and uncompromising integrity, Mrs. Jessica brings a wealth of expertise in navigating complex financial landscapes, managing systemic risks, and fostering robust corporate governance frameworks.
As an Independent Non-Executive Director, Mrs. Jessica leverages a deep understanding of monetary policies, anti-money laundering (AML/CFT) frameworks, and international financial regulations to provide strategic oversight, safeguard stakeholder interests, and guide the Bureau De Change (BDC) toward sustainable, compliant growth.
She has proven track record of upholding board-level accountability, transparency, and ethical business practices.
She also has deep knowledge of Central Bank regulations, financial crime prevention, and data privacy laws governing the foreign exchange sector.
